For nearly 70 years, this captivating musical has soared into the hearts of audiences of all ages, and now it’s back with a fresh, reimagined production! Directed by Emmy Award winner Lonny Price, known for his work on “Sunset Boulevard” and “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill,” and featuring an additional book by acclaimed playwright Larissa FastHorse, whose credits include “The Thanksgiving Play” and “What Would Crazy Horse Do?”, along with choreography by Lorin Latarro, famed for her work on “Waitress” and “The Who’s Tommy,” brace yourselves for an exhilarating journey like never before!
Sir J.M. Barrie’s original play has been reimagined by a talented creative team including Carolyn Leigh as lyricist, Morris “Moose” Charlap as composer, and additional contributions from Betty Comden, Adoph Green, Amanda Green, and Jule Styne, adding layers of depth to the timeless tale. Jerome Robbins, the original director and choreographer, set the stage for magic alongside Larissa FastHorse, who brings her unique touch as an additional book writer. Lonny Price takes the helm as director, with Lorin Latarro acting as choreography and Paul Rubin as the flying sequence choreographer. Andy Einhorn serves as music supervisor and offers additional arrangements, while Anna Louizos is assigned to scenic designs. Sarafina Bush brings the characters to life with her costume designs, complemented by Amith Chandrashaker’s dynamic lighting and Kai Harada’s sound design.
